With this purpose, this chapter presents the research on “Relationship between Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development”, “Integration of Short- and Long-term Responses to Extreme Events”, and “Relationship between Disaster Risk Management, Adaptation to Climate Extremes, and Mitigation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions”.
